Dr. Lara Kirstin Holly
Dr. Lara Kirstin Holly grew up in Bel Air, Maryland. In 1991, she graduated from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1995. Dr. Holly completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University while studying at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Following her residency, Dr. Holly completed a year-long fellowship in pediatric dentistry through Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University, studying at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

Dr. Holly lives in Dallas with her husband, children, and her two dogs. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, the Paul P. Taylor Dental Society, and the International Association of Dental Traumatology. She is also an active member in her neighborhood association and her son’s school. A community foundation dear to Dr. Holly is Swim4Elise, A Positive Wave of Change, which increases awareness of water safety. Dr. Holly believes in children’s dentistry that is approached with enthusiasm, positive reinforcement, and success. Her office strives to make each child feel welcomed, individual, and successful.

Dr. Rei Iwase
Dr. Rei Iwase grew up right here in Plano, TX. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Iwase knew she wanted to commit herself to pediatrics. She focused much of her research on a gum disease that predominately affects teenage girls.

She completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University, while training at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Baylor College of Dentistry. There was extensive training in oral conscious sedation, general anesthesia, and special needs children.

Dr. Rei Iwase is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, and American Dental Association.

Volunteering for her community has been an important part of her life.

She has volunteered with Watermark Community Church, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and traveled to El Paso and Panama providing dental care to the underserved pediatric population. Her work with the Junior League of Dallas allows her to be a part of the Perot Museum STEM program and participate in their sleepovers in the museum. Dr. Iwase lives in Dallas with her dog, Charles. She is a member of Watermark Community Church, enjoys running on the Katy Trail, reading mystery books, taking cooking classes, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

benDr. Ben Curtis

Dr. Ben Curtis grew up on his family’s ranch in the small east Texas town of Wills Point where his family have been active members of the community for over a hundred years. He and his wife are high school sweethearts and have two beautiful children, Birdie Belle and Dodson. You will be meeting a diehard Texas A&M Aggie and proud alumni. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry for dental school and for his pediatric dental residency. Dr. Curtis is a big advocate for children’s healthcare needs,with his efforts being both in Austin and in Washington DC. He earned the prestigious AAPD Harris Fellowship for his research to improve advocacy efforts for our nation’s children and continues to strive to provide a stronger voice for those children whose voices often go unheard.He is an ABPD Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and is on staff at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Curtis loves being able to help children have the best dental experience they can have, specifically tailored to their needs. He loves spending time with family, being a dad, being involved in church, and having a good laugh.

Dr. Sarita Shah John
Dr. Sarita Shah John has received extensive training in oral conscious sedation and hospital dentistry. Her residency program in pediatric dentistry included teaching and research, as well as dental care in the operating room and emergency room at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

A board certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shah has over twenty years’ experience with children’s dentistry. She served as part-time faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry for nine years, where she trained residents and dental students in clinical pediatric dentistry. She now participates as a board examiner and item writer for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Shah grew up on both coasts, but called the San Francisco Bay Area home before relocating to the Dallas Metroplex. She and her husband are active members of their church, and have a heart for ministry. A part of this ministry is supporting Daya, a Houston organization for children and families trying to break the cycle of domestic violence. Courtney P. – Dental Hygienist
Courtney has been with Dr. Holly since January 2011. She grew up in the DFW area and is a huge Ranger’s fan. When she’s not cheering on her favorite baseball team, she enjoys dancing and exercising often. She has two pups, Sky and Dax, who love to watch American Idol with her.

Stephanie – Dental Hygienist
Stephanie is very passionate about patient care and educating her patients. She is originally from Tyler, Tx and she is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan! Stephanie enjoys watching the Texas Rangers and traveling to new places. Stephanie’s main hobby is playing with her Dachshund, Dale Franklin.

MayraMayra – Dental Hygienist
Mayra is a graduate of Texas A&M College of Dental Hygiene, ready to put her education to work and continue to learn. She was born and raised in Dallas and loves her city. On her time off she loves spending time with her family; especially her husband and son.

LaTonya – Dental Assistant
LaTonya joined our team in February of 2015. She has been a pediatric dental assistant for over seven years now, with a coronal polishing license and a pit and fissure certification. LaTonya is married with children ages 12, 18, and 19. She is currently studying to earn her associate’s degree of science in business administration, with a concentration on human resource management. In LaTonya’s spare time, she likes going out to eat with her family, cooking, or curling up on the couch with a good horror or comedy flick.

Maria – Dental Assistant
Maria is a registered dental assistant with a coronal polishing license and a pit and fissure sealant certification. She is a mother of 3 children and enjoys working with our pediatric patients during the day. Maria has lived in Texas since 1999. In her free time, she loves to listen to almost all kinds of music and go shopping with her kids. Her favorite color is purple.

Kim – Hygiene Assistant
Kim’s focus is on assisting the hygienists so that you and your child have a smooth checkup with the doctors. She has her Associates of Science degree and is a Registered Dental Assistant. This Texas native fits right in, as she has always worked with children. You will often find her enjoying reading a good book or even writing one of her own!

Jessica – Clinical Coordinator
Jessica has committed herself to the dental field since 1999. Her wide range of skills makes her a perfect fit to coordinate our clinical department, helping them to provide your child an enjoyable dental experience. Her additional joys in life are spending time with her daughter, being a supportive dance mom, and enjoying a good Netflix movie.

Lauren – Business Assistant
Lauren discovered her passion for the dentistry field in 2007. She is now focusing on how to create the most enjoyable and educational dental experience for you and your children. She wears many hats in the office, including assisting you in scheduling appointments, coordinating office events, and managing marketing. Kathy – Part Time Business Associate
Kathy is a semi-retired mother of 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Born in Milwaukee, WI, Kathy has lived in Texas since 1986. She enjoys reading, listening to soft music, and watching game shows. Kathy’s favorite place is near a lake at sunset, which makes it no surprise her favorite color is sky blue. Kathy has been working in the office since 2007. She works on special projects and correspondence. Kathy’s latest project is helping our office “go green” by converting all our charts via scanning to the computer database.

Marie – Scheduling Coordinator
Marie has been in the dental field since 2016, and she recently moved to Texas from North Carolina. Marie previously worked at a dual practice of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, and she has been cross-trained as an assistant to do both. During her time at the dual practice, Marie fell in love with the pediatric side of dentistry. In addition, she has experience with in-office sedation and full dental rehabilitation in the O.R. Marie really enjoys connecting with patients and their families while meeting their dental needs. She is compassionate about being involved in the community and has volunteered at dental events, such as Give Kids A Smile. She loves spending time with her fiancé and two daughters as they travel, cook together, and have movie nights.
