Dr. Lara Kirstin Holly
Dr. Lara Kirstin Holly grew up in Bel Air, Maryland. In 1991, she graduated from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1995. Dr. Holly completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University while studying at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Following her residency, Dr. Holly completed a year-long fellowship in pediatric dentistry through Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University, studying at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

Dr. Holly lives in Dallas with her husband, children, and her two dogs. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, the Paul P. Taylor Dental Society, and the International Association of Dental Traumatology. Dr. Rei Iwase
Dr. Rei Iwase grew up right here in Plano, TX. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Iwase knew she wanted to commit herself to pediatrics. She focused much of her research on a gum disease that predominately affects teenage girls.

She completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University, while training at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Baylor College of Dentistry. There was extensive training in oral conscious sedation, general anesthesia, and special needs children.

Dr. Rei Iwase is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, and American Dental Association.

Volunteering for her community has been an important part of her life.

She has volunteered with Watermark Community Church, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and traveled to El Paso and Panama providing dental care to the underserved pediatric population. Her work with the Junior League of Dallas allows her to be a part of the Perot Museum STEM program and participate in their sleepovers in the museum. Dr. Iwase lives in Dallas with her dog, Charles. She is a member of Watermark Community Church, enjoys running on the Katy Trail, reading mystery books, taking cooking classes, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.


benDr. Ben Curtis

Dr. Ben Curtis grew up on his family’s ranch in the small east Texas town of Wills Point where his family have been active members of the community for over a hundred years. He and his wife are high school sweethearts and have two beautiful children, Birdie Belle and Dodson. You will be meeting a diehard Texas A&M Aggie and proud alumni. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry for dental school and for his pediatric dental residency. Dr. Curtis is a big advocate for children’s healthcare needs,with his efforts being both in Austin and in Washington DC. He earned the prestigious AAPD Harris Fellowship for his research to improve advocacy efforts for our nation’s children and continues to strive to provide a stronger voice for those children whose voices often go unheard.He is an ABPD Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and is on staff at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Curtis loves being able to help children have the best dental experience they can have, specifically tailored to their needs. He loves spending time with family, being a dad, being involved in church, and having a good laugh.


Dr. Sarita Shah John
Dr. Sarita Shah John has received extensive training in oral conscious sedation and hospital dentistry. Her residency program in pediatric dentistry included teaching and research, as well as dental care in the operating room and emergency room at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

A board certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shah has over twenty years’ experience with children’s dentistry. She served as part-time faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry for nine years, where she trained residents and dental students in clinical pediatric dentistry. She now participates as a board examiner and item writer for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Shah grew up on both coasts, but called the San Francisco Bay Area home before relocating to the Dallas Metroplex. She and her husband are active members of their church, and have a heart for ministry. A part of this ministry is supporting Daya, a Houston organization for children and families trying to break the cycle of domestic violence.
